A sign-in a descendant app asked for with identity.sign_in, delivered as the request field on the app_identity_sign_in_request event payload. Answer it with :accept() or :decline(), now or on a later frame (e.g. from an account sheet's buttons). Dropping every reference to it without answering declines it — promptly when the handler returns without keeping it, but only eventually when a kept reference is released later, so a deferring handler should answer explicitly.
The app that asked to sign in; after a forward, still that app.
Methods 2
SignInRequest:accept
method
SignInRequest:accept()
Honor the request. From the root app, start the sign-in with the request's issuer, prompt and login hint, as identity.sign_in does; its outcome reaches every app as the identity events. From any other app, pass the request on to this app's parent as a new app_identity_sign_in_request whose app is still the app that asked. Raises when this app does not manage the app that asked, or when the request was already answered; does nothing once that app has ended.
Refuse the request: the app that asked, and no other, gets identity_sign_in_failed with error_kind = "declined". Raises when this app does not manage the app that asked, or when the request was already answered; does nothing once that app has ended.
