A local key→bytes store opened by the datumhue.storage constructors. Handles comparing equal address the same store. A handle names the store rather than holding it open, so drop handles freely and open as many as needed.
Write value (a Bytes handle) under key. The write starts immediately; :ready() observes completion or failure.
Example
-- Wrap the value in bytes; a plain string is not accepted.
store:set("best", datumhue.bytes.json({ score = 42 })):ready()
local best = store:get("best"):ready().value
print(best:json().score) --> 42
Look up key. The result's value is the stored bytes, or nil when the key is absent.
Example
local theme = store:get("theme"):ready()
-- A key that was never set reads as nil.print(theme.value) --> nil
store:set("theme", datumhue.bytes("dark")):ready()
print(store:get("theme"):ready().value:text()) --> dark
